Leo Form – a creative partnership from first idea to finished book
For more than three decades, designer Patric Leo has created some of Sweden's most acclaimed photo books and art publications. For him, every project is a unique craft – and every print partner a crucial piece of the process. Multiply has become the partner Patric returns to when quality, relationships and possibilities need to work in harmony. Together, we create books that honour the artist's vision and become objects to carry through generations.

Background
Founded in 1991 by Patric Leo, Leo Form has long been a central force in Swedish book design. After studying at Beckmans, Patric moved straight into freelancing, working on packaging, logotypes and layouts – but it was books that quickly became his signature.
Through collaborations with photographers, artists and small publishers, he developed a method that many in the industry value deeply: a close, personal process where design, materials and the final object evolve together.
Patric works with different printers depending on budget and project scope – but when quality, dialogue and reliability need to align, he chooses Multiply.
"I often recommend Multiply – because I have deep trust in them. They deliver quality, they have a stable, long-term team, and I feel confident in every step of the process."

A relationship built on trust and care
Patric describes Multiply as a partner where communication is easy, contact is consistent, and the team remains stable. That creates confidence – especially in a field where details are everything.
For Patric, quality isn't just about the result, but about the process: having someone to exchange ideas with, receiving a critical eye on material choices, and feeling that project managers, prepress operators and printers care about the outcome as much as he does.
From idea to print – with quality as the guiding principle
The process often begins with discussions around paper, repro, image handling and technical solutions. Multiply contributes with:
Recommendations on materials and paper quality
Early checks and print proofs
Adjustments and solutions when something isn't right
Transparency through every step
Patric highlights Multiply's ability to identify and solve problems before they reach the press.

Proximity and expertise – the advantage of Swedish production
Local production is another key element of the partnership. Patric can quickly visit the press when needed and feels like a priority – unlike many international collaborations where you "become a small cog in a very large machine."
Multiply also provides access to bookbinders and other specialists, making it easy to produce the advanced, high‑end solutions that art books often require.
